Making Mondays: Something Turkish

Yashar and I have been busy... making him a fun little something for dressing up - which he loves doing at the moment!  The very awesome Cassi over at the Crafty Crow (a great resource for crafts to do with kids) asked me to put together a tutorial to be part of her celebration of crafts around the world during March.   Of course I jumped at the chance!

As soon as the tutorial goes up on her site I will let you know and will post some more photos here of the Yashar 'in action' with the craft.   I can't wait to see what the other guest bloggers from around the world came up with!

In the mean time here are few great things to do with kids, all found via the Crafty Crow.

These building discs from Made by Joel.  They look a little mid-century modern to me - which of course makes them all the more cool ;)

This amazing cardboard horse stampede - definitely on our to do list - from Ann Wood.

And this cute heart hair band from Katie Did Journal.

All images are from each of the respective makers.

So you can see why I am excited to be guest blogging at the Crafty Crow.  I will keep you posted (so to speak)!
