Yes! I have finally opened the doors to a little place on the net called The Light Garden where you can buy my artwork and illustrations. At the moment there are prints and I have plans to put some originals and also some party invitations and cards in there too. I am running the shop using Etsy - a great website where people around the world can buy and sell handmade.
And of course I'll keep on dreaming...illustrating a book for children is the big dream waiting patiently at the back of my mind.
So I hope you make it over to the shop to have a look and thank you all for your support and encouragement along the way. It has meant so much to me.

Congrats on starting your etsy store! It's great to have a creative outlet - especially when bringing up a baby/child and living o'seas!
Big congrats!! Well done for taking this step! And sales already. Keep up the great work!
You should have no problem making sales on your prints. They are all fabulous. Good shots of them, too, in the etsy store. Very akin to some of my faves -- Belle & Boo, Sarah Jane, etc. Awesome.
I'm so excited for you! Way to go! I look forward to purchasing some of your stuff. Wonder if it would make it to Egypt? I too share the children's book dream, I would like to write one. Perhaps I will be in need of an illustrator...
hi there....a friend sent me the link to your blog since we might be moving to istanbul in August. i have two boys (3 yrs old and 9 mo old), and boy would I LOVE to be giving them the creative life you are giving your son! At first I thought that maybe you were an artist and always had been, but i'm incredibly inspired to see that you were a lawyer (i was a scientist), and have slowly followed your dreams of creativity. Wow! you are amazing! I just want to say that you have really inspired me. I have always wanted to be more creative and make things (used to a long tmie ago!), draw things, write things...And I've always had a little dream of writing children's books... :o) I love your artwork! Maybe, esp if we do end up in Istanbul, we could put our little dreams together!
Hey drea, I tried to find some contact details for you but couldn't, so I will write here - just in case you ever check the comments again! Unlikely, but you never know. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your comment! I feel like you really 'get' what I'm about! Your comment was so motivating for me! Please do contact me if you make it over to Istanbul. I would love to meet you.
